We Are Going To Haiti! (Missions Trip – March 13-19) Print Out An Application!

UPDATE for Jr. High Students Only: Due to a great response of people wanting to go on this trip we are splitting the team into two. We have rescheduled the Haiti trip for Jr. High students to August. High school students will still be going March 13-19, but Jr. High students will be going in August.

Hey Everyone,
Start praying now. Our youth group is going to Haiti to help! We are going in March. That’s only a few weeks away. Start saving your money. We’ll have some fundraising ideas for you too. We’ll have support letters for you to give out to raise the money. But mostly just pray and if God wants you to go then He will provide a way! PRAY!

DATES: March 13-19
PARENT’S MEETING: Wednesday, January 27th – 9pm in the multi-purpose room at CCOB. Come get all your questions answered by Pastor Andy.
WHERE: We are joining Score International (www.scoreinternational.org). We’ve been with them in the Dominican Republic for 3 years now. We’ll be housed in the same building as we’ve been in for most nights, and some nights closer to the Haiti Border.
AIRPORT: We’ll be flying in from Newark Airport to Santo Domingo in the DR.
SAFETY: We will be hoping for an opportunity to get into Haiti, but will only pursue that if it is significantly more stable than it is now (which it should be six weeks from now). We will have a Score security team with us at all times as well.
PASSPORTS: Required. Start the application this week if you are planning on going. Even if you are just considering it go to your local post office, library, etc. and start the application. They are good to have anyway.
SCHOOL: You will have to ask your school to let you go. We will provide CCOB letterhead and contact info for me at the church that they can call, also a flyer you can hand them about what you are doing and contact info in the DR to verify it.
We are taking 30 students from the High School ministry and Jr. High ministry plus 10 leaders. Our group will be 40 people strong.
PRAY IF GOD WANTS YOU TO GO! IF SO, THEN HAVE FAITH THAT HE WILL PROVIDE AND WORK HARD TO MAKE IT HAPPEN.
