England Mission Day 9&10
Today was our last full day here in Oxford and what a special day it was! Pastor Steve took us on a church history here in Oxford, walking us through the Reformation and the story of the Oxford martyrs, and learned about how the faith of England is what it is today. Getting to stand in the same city where believers died for the gospel, on a trip all about sharing that same gospel, was a powerful way to start our final day. From there we split into two groups. One headed out f

England Mission Day 8
After a slower start to the morning, we headed into Oxford ready to spend the day sharing the gospel. We began with street evangelism around the city, then broke for lunch before heading to a university park to keep going. We've spent a lot of this week out on the streets and today God did something we had been praying for all along. The highlight of the day was getting to pray with a few people to accept the Lord. After a week of planting seeds and trusting God with the resu

England Mission Day 7
Happy Sunday! The team spent the day in Leatherhead at Calvary Chapel Leatherhead, and it was one of the sweetest days of fellowship yet. We joined them for their service where Pastor Aaron shared a powerful message from Matthew 16. Afterwards, we got to fellowship with the congregation and the students got to meet the teens, and spend more time with baby Rowan. That afternoon, they invited the team to a local park for a picnic! It was more fellowship, more worship, and a who

England Mission Day 6
Today, we split into two teams to cover more ground across England. One half of the team stayed in Oxford at Calvary Chapel Oxford to help deep clean the entire building. The other half of the team drove out to serve at Calvary Chapel Watford that Pastor Steve is helping take over. In Watford, half of them worked on cleaning and organizing the church while the other half headed out to evangelize on the streets. Once we came back together, we shared an Indian dinner and had a

Today was our final day of the Bible Holiday Club, and it's hard to believe it's already over. This week with the kids has been such a blessing, and saying goodbye to them was harder than we expected. We've watched them dive into the Roman world, learn the songs, and hear about Jesus all week long, and letting them go was tough. We're trusting God to keep working in every one of their hearts long after this week is done. IMPACT in England That evening, we got to do something

England Mission Day 4
Our third day of the Bible Holiday Club is already behind us, and it was a good one. The kids are fully in the swing of things now, and the whole morning has found its rhythm. Each day opens with Extollo, the big group time where everyone learns the songs and motions together, before the kids break into their family groups, Maximus, Cassius, and Aurelius, to walk through the day's lesson in smaller circles. The heart of it all is the drama. Our team has been acting out the st

England Mission Day 3
We started the morning in the Word, taking personal time in James 1:9-18 before gathering as a team for devotions. It set the tone for the whole day and was exactly what we needed before heading back into ministry. From there it was into our second day of the Bible Holiday Club. This year the whole thing is built around ancient Rome, and the kids rotate through a Roman marketplace our team runs, with stalls for everything from mosaics and pottery to wreath making, leatherwork
