England Mission Day 9&10

Today was our last full day here in Oxford and what a special day it was!

Pastor Steve took us on a church history here in Oxford, walking us through the Reformation and the story of the Oxford martyrs, and learned about how the faith of England is what it is today. Getting to stand in the same city where believers died for the gospel, on a trip all about sharing that same gospel, was a powerful way to start our final day.

From there we split into two groups. One headed out for some shopping around the streets of Oxford, and the other went punting on the water, something we had to do at least once here. It was great, and a fun way to soak in the city one last time.

After a final dinner together, we started getting ready for the long journey home. We leave the hotel at 2:30am to catch our flight back home to New Jersey.

Please be praying for our team as we travel back. Pray for safe flights, for rest along the way, and for lasting transformation for all the students and leaders that went on the trip. Thank you Jesus for the gospel and I pray that we would continue to shine Your light into the next mission.
