We started off the day strong, thankfully we were able to sleep in a bit since we would be attending the 11 am service at Golgota. We had our group meeting at 9 am and headed out to a bakery for breakfast.

After a short walk, we arrived at Golgota. As we arrived we were greeted by a number of kids who met at the Hungarian camp on Tuesday! It was a sweet moment to see both the Hungarian kids and our kid's faces light up as they embraced each other. Since Golgota knew that we would be attending, they made sure to choose songs for worship that we would all be able to join in and sing in English. The combination of the two languages in worship is truly a special experience and one that the kids loved.

After service, we had time to meet up with the head pastor Németh János and talk missions. The kids asked him lots of questions as he shared his story of how he became the pastor of Golgota.

After meeting with Janos we made our way to the park for the Ukrainian soccer outreach with George Markey. We jumped right in and started playing soccer with over 15 Ukrainian kids and 2 Ukrainian families. It was a great time of fellowship and ministering to these families in need. We ended the outreach with a time of worship with each other in the park.
From there we headed to dinner! We walked over to the Buda side of Budapest for the first time and the kids we able to admire the beauty of the city. We stopped on one of the bridges and took this great group photo

After we had dinner we decided to walk through the city. Even though it was later in the night the city was alive. People are out eating, all the lights are on, and a peaceful atmosphere. Of course, we had to stop and buy ice cream as the perfect ending for our night. On our walk back to the Hostel we began singing songs of worship. Our voices echoed through the large hallways of Budapest while others looked. The kids weren't phased but instead embraced it. We all sang and enjoyed praising God together in the streets of Budapest.
