Hungary 2024 (Day 4)

Good Evening here from Vajta!

Today was cleaning day at the conference center.

We started the day off at 7am with some personal devotion times & group devotions led by Vinny. Promptly after breakfast we began to take on the challenge of cleaning the castle. Similar to yesterday, we replaced all of the linens in the castle. Today we continue in preparing the rooms for the pastors who will be coming in for their conference on Monday. The team worked efficiently as they swept, and mopped every room and hallway. We also rearranged their community/game room.

It took us until lunch to complete the job, with over 25 rooms cleaned. We then headed over to the lunchroom for some Lescó (Hungarian Ratatouille). It is a soup that usually consists of sausages, peppers and paprika, giving it its red color.

In the afternoon, we took on the fence that goes around the perimeter of the pool area. We sanded, scraped, and then painted as much as we could for the day. After all the work was done, the kids spent some of their free time in the pool.

In the evening, we combined with the other Hungarian teams who were serving at the castle for a time of worship, prayer and a message led by Vinny. It was translated into Hungarian by Bene, the team organizer here at the castle.

Tomorrow we will be heading back to Budapest. Please continue to keep us in your prayers for smooth traveling. The Lord has already shown himself faithful and powerful in this area. Even with 22 people!
