Ukraine: Mukachevo Day 2 (Vincent Fernandez)
Today we were running the same play book as yesterday. In the morning we helped run the children’s day camp at Calvary Chapel Living Waters. Pastor Joel’s team of servants were amazing at getting the kids involved and having fun. Daniel and Jeremiah taught as Pheobe, Amaya, and Andrew were making arts and crafts with the kids.
After day camp we made our way over to the youth center again. We headed straight to the park to play a game of capture the flag just like yesterday.
It’s small things like this that open the door to the seed of the gospel being planted. The kids had a blast and so did we. We were able to minster to the kids and safe the gospel with their care taker who didn’t know Jesus.
After having amazing Ukrainian dumplings for lunch, we headed back to the same park as yesterday for live music and evangelism. Jeremiah, Amaya and Daniel lead a number of songs and gathered a lot of youth! The kids evangelized to a number of people in the crowd. The highlight was this one 14 year old named Roman. Andrew and myslef started a conversation wit him. Ultimately we found out he was a christian who had not been to church in quite a while after the death of his parents. Eventually after a long conversation he asked if he could play some worship songs in the guitar that Jeremiah was playing. We agreed and we than saw tons of youth come to watch his friend play music with the Americans.
It was an amazing time of worship and evangelism! God used the kids and many seeds of gospel were planted. After that time we packed up and headed back to the church and had one of the best bbq ribs and chicken in our lives! It was an amazing day.
Hungary: Budapest (Caleb Irizarry)
Today we teamed up with George Markey, a local missionary here. We were able to spend time with some young Ukrainian refugees. To minister to them, we were there to have conversations, and bring a sense of normalcy through games.

We headed to a local park in Budapest, and had a great time playing against them in soccer. After that we ate pizza together and listened to the kids’ stories, and finished off our time with a big water gun fight.
Awww so happy to see how the Lord is working thru you all!!! 🙌🏻
