Day 3 of camp was another full day. This morning at our 7 am meeting, we had a time of worship that our teens led. It was a sweet time of prayer and a great way to start our day.

When everyone gathered together, we of
course had ot start our day off with a
game of limbo! Every morning, it is Ukrainian tradition to get your body moving. This is one of their many ways to be active in the morning.

The highlight of the day was the hike up the mountain right outside the village. It was optional, but most of the kids, including our own, went on the hike. Even though it was a challenging hike, the view made it all worth it. The kids felt that it was during the hike that they genuinely began to experience depth in the conversations with the Ukrainian teens.
Right as the lesson time was approaching, it began to downpour. All the kids rushed inside early to avoid getting wet. What followed was a time of spontaneous worship with both Americans and Ukrainians. Our teens were leading in worship on guitar, bass, and singing their hearts out. The Ukrainian teens couldn't help but join in.
Throughout the camp, our teens have been bonding more and more with the Ukrainian teens. But it hasn't been a perfect process. While most of them are open to talking to us, some have no interest. It's been difficult for our teens to connect not only because of the language barrier but also because of their very different backgrounds. But as we spent all day with them today, we have seen so many bonds beginning to form, primarily through the hike.
Please continue to pray for us! We are officially more than halfway through the camp. Pray that the Lord softens the hearts of the Ukrainian teens, making them ready to hear the gospel. Pray for boldness for our kids as they share the gospel with others.
