Yesterday, we were able to begin our first day evangelizing at a big field in Cambridge where many people gather during breaks from work. So many people from so many different countries were there and we were able to share the good news with them as well as some bottles of water. At night, we were able to join with a prayer service from another church that Pastor Joey has taught at in the past. Overall, it was a wonderful time and we got to experience the Lord in a unique way. The people at the church were so blessed to see all of the young people on fire for God and excited to minister in their city. People left blessed!
Today, we had a time of encouragement in the morning as well as a time of exhortation before we got ready to go out and share. It seems like the team overall is still recovering from jet-lag, but we are battling in prayer against the enemy so that we can continue to see fruit. We specifically prayed this morning that we would see a great harvest of souls so that we could be encouraged and energized for the rest of the week…and God exceeded our expectations!! There are so many stories to share, and we hope to chronicle them for all of you. Some people said they would come to church on Sunday, and some made commitments to the Lord! Later tonight, we got to discuss some of the obstacles we have come across apologetically. While we discussed, a young man staying at our hotel was intently listening outside, and began to ask us questions! He stuck around for the whole 2 hours or so that we discussed evidences for God.
We are EXCITED and thankful for your prayers!! Please continue to pray as we sense some oppression holding back the team in discouragement…We know our God is able!
